Endoscopic Keyhole Brain Surgery

The keyhole concept in neurosurgery is designed to minimize the craniotomy needed for the access route to deep intracranial pathologies. Such keyhole surgeries cause less trauma and can be less invasive than conventional surgical techniques. It could take up to 3-5 hours if you are having a regular craniotomy. If you have an awake craniotomy, the surgery could take 5-7 hours.

Endoscopic Keyhole Spine Surgery

Spinal fusion, also called spondylodesis or spondylosyndesis, is a neurosurgical or orthopedic surgical technique that joins two or more vertebrae. This procedure can be performed at any level in the spine and prevents any movement between the fused vertebrae. The majority of patients will return to work one to two weeks after the procedure, but patients that work physically demanding and labor type jobs should take more time away from work. At six weeks, all patients are able to return to work.

CV Junction Anomaly Surgery

Occipitocervical posterior fusion (OCPF) is a standard surgical procedure for CVJ instability in young children because most of the complex bony anomalies at the CVJ with craniocervical instability, especially AAD, are irreducible, and the immature C1 lamina in very young children precludes fixation. A Brain Magnetic Resonance Imagining (MRI) with CV (craniovertebral) junction creates a picture of the back of the head.

Epilepsy Surgery

Epilepsy surgery is most effective when seizures always occur in a single location in the brain. Epilepsy surgery is not the first line of treatment but is considered when at least two anti-seizure medications have failed to control seizures.

Minimal invasive Spine Surgery

Patients with a herniated disc, spinal stenosis, and spondylolisthesis may be treated using a minimally-invasive approach when nonsurgical treatments fail to relieve symptoms for a period of three months or more. In many cases, elderly patients are good candidates for the procedure.

Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS)

Deep brain stimulation (DBS) is a neurosurgical procedure that uses implanted electrodes and electrical stimulation to treat movement disorders associated with Parkinson's disease (PD), essential tremor, dystonia, and other neurological conditions.

Brachial Plexus Surgery

The goal of brachial plexus surgery is to relieve your pain and restore sensation and motor function to your shoulder, arm, and hand. Surgical approaches consider the type, location and extent of nerve injury, as well as your overall health and the impact of the injury on your ability to work and quality of life.

Stereotactic Biopsy

A stereotactic biopsy is a surgical procedure where a thin needle is inserted into the brain by a neurosurgeon to extract a small piece of tissue to examine under a microscope. Generally, the procedure is not painful and the results are as accurate as when a tissue sample is removed surgically.

Cervical Spondylosis

Cervical spondylosis is a general term for age-related wear and tear affecting the spinal disks in your neck. As the disks dehydrate and shrink, signs of osteoarthritis develop, including bony projections along the edges of bones (bone spurs). Cervical spondylosis is very common and worsens with age.

Paralysis

Paralysis is the loss of the ability to move some or all of your body. It can have lots of different causes, some of which can be serious. Depending on the cause, it may be temporary or permanent. It is known as Complete or partial loss of muscle function.

Stroke

A stroke is a serious life-threatening medical condition that happens when the blood supply to part of the brain is cut off. Strokes are a medical emergency and urgent treatment is essential. The sooner a person receives treatment for a stroke, the less damage is likely to happen.

Craniofacial Reconstructive Surgery

Craniofacial surgery refers to a series of surgical procedures involving the skull and the face. Most patients have developmental or congenital conditions such as cleft lip or cleft palate and syndromes that affect the facial regions around the eyes, ears, or jaw.
